Enjoy Dhikala Jeep Safari in Corbett Tiger Reserve

Dhikala is a part of Corbett Tiger Reserve’s and it is the largest Safari zone. You need to pass through Dhangarhi gate to enter this zone. However, to enter this part of jungle, you required to show your permit at the entrance gate You are only allowed to say in reserve for 1-3 nights. You can reach at dhikala campus in maximum one and half hour. On the way you will come across thick Sal woods, a brimming Ramganga River and will pass through several monsoon-drenched drains. However, you are not allowed to travel in Dhikala in day but you can tour in this region by a Canter in morning and later can reach your base by afternoon. This excursion is referred as Ramganga conducted excursion and is allowed by the Corbett National Tiger Reserve.



Sultan forest lodge- The first lodge that you come across while passing through Dhangarhi gate to reach Dhikala is Sultan.

Gairal forest lodge- You reach this lodge via main Dhangarhi-Dhikala road. It is situated near the Ramganga river where is the first entrance door of the reserve. Gairal lodge provides you perfect condition to view birds and fauna in serene and peaceful ambiance.

Sarapduli forest lodge – It is located on the Dhangarhi-Dhikala road. This lodge is apt to see big mammals such as elephants, tigers, etc. as chances of seeing them there is high. In fact, it is great spot to be in awe of crocodiles and view beautiful birds.

Dhikala forest lodge- Now this is the best cabin you can get in Corbett. It is located at the border vast grassland. Here, Ramganga River flows in various channels. Dhikala provides you an amazing and undisturbed view of the valley, with the Kanda peak in the background. You can also watch chital, wild pigs, wild elephants while passing through many paths during Dhikala Jeep Safari.

Kanda forest lodge- It is the highest cabin in Corbett Tiger Reserve forest. Kanda situated on north side of the reserve is also referred as neighbor of the Himalayas because of its similarity to the Himalayas in terms of vegetation, flora and fauna, climate etc. You can enjoy the true essence of the Himalayas. Dhikala Jeep Safari is tourist’s first preference and it is opened from November 15 to June 15.

Khinanauli forest lodge: Khinanauli is the only VIP forest lodge situated nearby Dhikala. When you are staying in this rest house you can reach dhikala within 10 minutes and explore the wildlife.
